Indigo - Professional Design Work (Hard Home)
How can Design help drive business success and bring joy to customers? This is the main goal of Indigo studio brands and the designers behind them. While working on the Indigo team as a Designer, I designed over 170 products that have launched into the Canadian market. I have designed for all categories, but was the lead designer of Desktop, Wellness, and Seasonal Décor categories. Indigo has quarterly assortment refreshments; meaning all designs are researched, drawn, converted to CAD, teched, sampled, and finalized in 4 month intervals.
Spring/Summer 2023 Collections.
The Spring and Summer 2023 seasons were projected to be a time of fresh and whimsical new beginnings. Products were designed with a playfulness that could make customers smile. The new year also presented opportunity for a focus on wellness and self care.
Holiday 2022 Collection.
The Holiday season of 2022 was projected to be a time of celebration and gathering in the wake of Covid. The design team collectively designed for 4 distinct personas with 4 distinct aesthetics: the Modernist, the Minimalist, the Romantic, and the Traditionalist.
Fall 2022 Collection.
Fall 2022 was projected to be a time where customers would want to find getaway’s within their own spaces at home. Although it is usually a small refresh in the home category, it is a huge season for desktop and back to school. For this season, I focussed on creating thought out and beautiful product stories that customers can use to complete their home work spaces.
Spring/Summer 2022 Collection.
Spring and Summer 2022 was projected to be a time where we would see our post - Covid customer eager to travel and look forward to new beginnings. Designs were focused on bright colours with fun shapes and pleasant interactions. My focus was primarily on the Desktop category; bringing fun yet functional and unique designs to our customer.
